FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do I need a referral from my GP? No, a referral is NOT required. Simply contact us to arrange your appointment. Some children may be eligible for partial Medicare rebates in which case a GP referral is required.

- How long is each session? An assessment session takes approximately 60-90 minutes, including time for discussion of findings and general recommendations. Therapy sessions are 45 minutes in length.
- How often will I need to come? This really depends on the nature of the problem and the level of concern. We will be happy to discuss this with you and make recommendations regarding once we know you and your child better. In most cases once weekly sessions for a set period of time is recommended (for example, 45 mins per week for 8 weeks to work towards a specific goal). In most cases you will also be given a few activities to practice at home. Often, the more practice done at home, the less therapy sessions are required.
